What we do

The infrastructure layer for advanced therapy delivery.

We've built an innovative process automation platform for final formulation and last mile dose preparation by leveraging microfluidics, robotics, and AI. Our goal is to make advanced therapy delivery scalable to all patients.

Why now

A new class of medicines is curing disease.

Tissue Engineering
Radiopharma

But complex final formulation and last-mile delivery processes make them inherently challenging to scale.

<3%

The bottleneck isn't just manufacturing — it's also delivery.

Only a fraction of U.S. hospitals can deliver cell & gene therapies today, because doing so still requires:

Pharmacy + cell-therapy labSpecialized facility & equipment
High-skill staffScarce, manual, variable
The precedent

Traditional pharma has solved drug delivery, but those tools don't work for advanced therapies.

A mature, multi-billion-dollar category of formulation, automation, and drug-delivery systems — built for small-molecule pharma.
Advanced therapies — open

No standard yet.
The infrastructure layer is unbuilt. Cellular Vehicles is building it for next-generation therapies.
The solution

Odyssey puts the final formulation & compounding process into a box.

Our Odyssey System replaces the specialized staff, lab, and fragmented equipment that advanced therapy delivery requires today — with a single closed, automated, small-footprint instrument.

How it works

Systems innovation across three domains.

Robotics

Automated liquid handling — no open manual process steps.

Microfluidics

Proprietary chips miniaturize pipetting, centrifugation, and mixing operations.

AI Quality Control

In-line QC confirms dose integrity and captures data.

The vision

An espresso machine for advanced therapy formulation and dose prep.

Work with us

A universal platform, customized to your therapy.

The Odyssey System is a flexible process-automation platform: one universal base unit, with software and single-use kits configured per application. We partner with biopharma, CDMOs, and academic medical centers to co-develop custom software protocols and single-use kits — and because the platform and kits are modular, partners benefit from economies of scale. Finally, we are cell-type and indication-agnostic. Thus far, we have worked with partners developing therapies for solid tumor CAR T-cells, neurodegenerative diseases, regenerative medicine, and tissue engineering.

Universal base unit

One standardized Odyssey System underpins every application — no bespoke hardware.

Custom protocols & kits

We co-develop software protocols and single-use kits with biopharma, CDMOs, and academic medical centers.

Economies of scale

A universal platform and modular kit design drive down cost — and our partners share the benefit on price.
