Moira Crehan

Moira graduated with a BS in Biology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. During her time as an undergraduate, she worked as an instructional assistant to the Cell Therapy Special Topics course at Cal Poly under Professor Emily Neal, where she helped mentor students in essential laboratory techniques and led them through typical cell therapy workflows, including culturing, cryopreserving, thawing, and activating T-cells. She also conducted research in Dr. Jennifer Venderkelen’s lab as a part of Cal Poly’s Center for Applications in Biotechnology. Moira investigated the plastic-degrading abilities of marine microbes, performing and analyzing novel bio-assays. Moira is excited to be part of the Cellular Vehicles team and their work towards advancing cell therapy access through the development of the Odyssey System.
