William Solovei

William graduated from Purdue University with a bachelors and masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He performed biotechnology robotics research under Dr. Xiumin Diao to prototype a cable driven parallel robot to be used for gait rehabilitation (1, 2). The project is still ongoing with new students and William’s guidance. After interning at Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions and twice at Thermo Fisher Scientific, he joined Cellular Vehicles as an intern and now works full time. Outside of work, William volunteers at StandUp for Kids and does Muay Thai.
